Heat Merchants and Tubs & Tiles in Navan, Co Meath, currently require a Stores Person(Warehouse Operative) .

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The post holder will be responsible for looking after the combined warehouse/stores area of both the Heat Merchants and Tubs & Tiles branches in Navan, unloading deliveries and putting the stock away, updating paperwork and the system to accurately record stock, whilst also maintaining a high standard of customer care and housekeeping throughout the stores area.
JOB SPECIFICATION
- Unloading deliveries and putting away the stock into its correct locations.
- Booking in stock on the CORE ERP system, reporting any damages in timely fashion and organising return to Central Warehouse when required.
- Understand customer’s expectations and needs
- Monitor customer orders and deliveries and keep customers updated on same
- Dealing with our Trade Customers
- Resolve orders and delivery issues and take responsibility
- Assist with sales enquiries as and when required
- Participate in stock take when required
- Adherence to maintaining Health & Safety practices and Company policies and procedures
- Any other duties as reasonably requested by Management

Person Specification

Essential
- Experience of working in a stores / warehouse area in a customer focused environment
- Stock management experience
- Proficient PC user
- Forklift experience

- Must be extremely customer focused
Desirable
- Hold a current forklift licence
- ERP system/warehouse management system experience
